Laura and Lisa-Marie from Gymnasium Oberursel took first place in the  videochallenge 2024 with their video about the NFL Germany – and won a very special prize: tickets to the NFL game in Munich!

Alina and Anni from Tostedt Gymnasium were awarded the GREENTECH FESTIVAL Special Prize for their video on SOS Children's Village and their special focus on sustainability in their analysis at the last b@s video challenge in September. They received a personal invitation from Nico Rosberg to the GREENTECH FESTIVAL 2024. Finally, the time had come, and it was "Berlin calling!"

This year we are introducing the Foreign Language Award to recognize the special achievements of our participants from all over the world.

Today is the kick-off of a new round of our video competition! For the eighth-time student teams from all types of schools between the ages of 14 and 20 have until August 1 to become filmmakers and economic experts.

Alexander and David from Landesgymnasium St. Afra, the winners of this year's videochallenge, experienced a day full of innovations and insights during their visit to Würth's headquarters.

Alex and Amon, winners of our 2022 b@s videochallenge, had the unique opportunity to visit waterdrop's headquarters in Vienna last week.  

The winning team from the Babelsberg Media School was able to participate in the podcast ich&wir and the production of a TikTok video for the prize redemption at SOS Kinderdorf in Munich.

In this year’s videochallenge Jimmy and Simon from Karl-Rehbein-Schule in Hanau won the prize for the best video on Fressnapf and the Youngster Award. Now, they visited the Fressnapf headquarters in Krefeld to redeem their prize.

We have great news! In cooperation with the GREENTECH FESTIVAL, there will be another award to be won at this year's competition round in addition to the four company awards, the Youngster Award and the Audience Award.

Last September, Maximilian and Jaden of the Frankfurt International School in Oberursel (Taunus) won the prize awarded by the DFL, Germany's national soccer league, in the b@s videochallenge. This past weekend, the two students claimed their prize by attending the national league game pitting Cologne's club, 1. FC Köln, against the team from Frankfurt, Eintracht Frankfurt, at RheinEnergie Stadium in Cologne.

The b@s videochallenge starts its next round! Students between 14 and 20 at all types of schools may choose one of four companies (Flix, Fressnapf, SOS-Kinderdorf e.V., Würth) and analyze it using four questions and then present their results in four-minute videos.

In the b@s videochallenge in 2022, Adrian, Bruno, David Alexander, and Konstantin from Sächsisches Landesgymnasium Sankt Afra zu Meißen won the Company Prize for their video about Deichmann. They redeemed their prize, a visit to the Deichmann headquarters in Essen with a look behind the scenes of Europe’s largest shoe retailer.

The students Carlotta, Christina, Laila, Michelle, and Sophia from the Karl-Rehbein-Schule in Hanau won the Schaeffler company prize in this year’s b@s videochallenge: a visit to the Schaeffler factory in Hirschaid and a climb up a wind turbine!

The b@s videochallenge is entering the crucial phase: The best films are soon competing for the Audience Award, with the winner chosen by online voting. 

The b@s videochallenge starts its next round! Students between 14 and 20 at all types of schools may choose one of four companies (Deichmann, DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga, Schaeffler, waterdrop) and analyze it using four questions and then present their results in four-minute videos.

Adam, Béla, Konstantin, Leonie, Leontina, and Max from the Leibnizschule school in Wiesbaden were given the award for best video about Covestro at our award ceremony in September. Their prize: a look behind the scenes of the materials manufacturer.

The next round of the b@s videochallenge will begin with four new companies starting immediately. Students from all types of schools will be able to submit their videos about  Covestro, PUMA, TIER, and VYTAL by August 1. 

In view of the current situation, the deadline for entries to the b@s videochallenge has been extended to October 1 this year. 

Timo from the boarding school Schloss Hansenberg in Geisenheim chose the right day for his visit at share in Berlin, which he won as a prize for the best video about the company.

The next round of the b@s videochallenge will begin with four new companies starting immediately. Students from all types of schools will be able to submit their videos about Borussia Dortmund, Compensaid, Ecosia, and LEGO by August 1. 

In September, Jule, Luca Marie, and Paulina were awarded for the best video on the company congstar. Their prize: looking behind the scenes of Congstar in Cologne for a day and helping to develop a social media campaign.

The team that created 2017's best video about Save the Children redeemed its prize in Berlin. Together with their teacher, the five students from Hanover were able to take a look behind the scenes of the children's rights organization's German headquarters and meet many of its dedicated employees. 

Jasmin, Laura, Laisa, Julia, and Svea are 11th-graders at Immanuel-Kant-Gymnasium in Münster. While their interest in business topics was limited before, Videoblogger Economics showed them how exciting it can be to dive into the world of businesses. Their contribution to the competition was so good that they won the Audience Award in the online voting—and a visit to the professional bloggers of Studio71 in Berlin. 

Their winning contribution on the soccer club TSG 1899 Hoffenheim earned Julius and Georg from Cologne an exclusive prize: There were invited by managing director Peter Görlich to take a look behind the scenes of the Bundesliga club on a match day. The two students have meanwhile redeemed their prize in the WIRSOL Rhein-Neckar Arena
